Job Description:

We are searching for a Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with various responsibilities linked to the management and processing of legal documents, case management, and client communication.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately and efficiently draft and format litigation documents using Microsoft Word
Manage documents using iManage and ensure proper interaction with other applications
File emails on behalf of attorneys in iManage
Handle the electronic filing for attorneys across different courts and jurisdictions
Maintain attorney calendars and contacts, including the entry of discovery deadlines in Outlook
Provide assistance during trial preparation
Administer billing and collections tasks
Engage in frequent client communication and handle potential client calls when necessary
File A&O’s with the court on court-appointed matters
Use various software such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and CompuLaw for case management and other functions
Carry out briefing, claim administration, and other communication tasks
Ensure the accuracy of all work and maintain exceptional organizational skills

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
Proficient in using Aderant
Skilled in Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
Proficient in using Case Management Software
Knowledge of CompuLaw
Experience with Billing Functions
Strong skills in Briefing
Ability to manage Calendars effectively
Capable of Claim Administration
Excellent Communication skills
