Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team on a temporary, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your legal expertise to a mission-driven organization making a positive impact in the community.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with no-fault litigation matters, including the preparation of motions, answers, discovery demands and responses, affidavits, affirmations, and memoranda of law
Support attorneys with case management and legal research
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of document preparation
Maintain organized case files and support e-filing/document filing as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of no-fault litigation experience
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, and legal document preparation
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficiency in legal software and e-filing systems is a plus
Notary Public certification is a big advantage (though not mandatory)
Proficient in drafting motions with precision and accuracy
Demonstrable experience in No-fault cases
Familiarity with court filing procedures and systems
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit sector
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Detail-oriented with an ability to work under pressure
Bachelor's degree in law or a related field
Proficiency in legal research tools and software
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
Demonstrable knowledge of legal terminology and principles
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Nice to have:

Notary Public certification
Proficiency in legal software and e-filing systems
