Job Description:

A reputable and growing law firm in Fremont, CA, is seeking a skilled and highly detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team. The role involves document drafting, discovery and document review, e-filing expertise, case management, and collaboration with attorneys and clients.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, correspondence, and settlement agreements with a high degree of accuracy
Assist with all phases of discovery, including gathering, organizing, reviewing, and producing documents
Manage discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions
Handle state and federal court e-filing requirements proficiently, ensuring timely and error-free submissions
Maintain case files and calendars, monitor deadlines, and support attorneys in meeting key case milestones
Work closely with attorneys, clients, and other team members to coordinate and execute litigation strategies

Requirements:

Minimum of three (3) years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
Proficiency in e-filing platforms for both California state and federal courts
Strong understanding of the litigation process, including document review and discovery procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
Familiarity with legal software solutions, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
Paralegal Certificate or equivalent education/certifications
