Job Description:

A leading personal injury law firm in Seattle is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of accomplished attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where your contributions will directly impact the success of the firm and its clients.

Job Responsibility:

Managing case files, including document organization, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence
Conducting extensive legal research and summarizing findings to assist attorneys in case preparation
Filing legal documents electronically (e-filing) and managing all aspects of motions and court filings
Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court clerks on case-related matters
Assisting attorneys in preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials by organizing exhibits, creating chronologies, and compiling case materials
Performing other paralegal tasks as needed to support the firm’s mission of client advocacy

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a litigation paralegal, ideally within the personal injury field
Paralegal certification, bachelor's degree, or relevant coursework
Proficiency in legal software tools (e.g., Case Management systems, e-filing platforms) and strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Thorough understanding of civil litigation procedures and familiarity with Washington state court systems
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal staff
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment

Nice to have:

Experience working on Personal Injury or Insurance Defense cases
