Job Description:

Our client, a Malpractice firm recognized as one of the very best law firms in the United States and the top law firm in the state of Colorado for medical malpractice and personal injury has an opening for a 3 plus years litigation paralegal.

Job Responsibility:

Take a case from start through trial
Proficiency with Rules 16 and 26
Experience with state and federal filings
Proficiency with depositions and trial prep
Docketing and electronic calendaring database
Ability to manage a heavy workload
Ability to transcribe dictation
Travel arrangement experience
Legal and medical terminology experience

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Paralegal
Proficiency in using Aderant software
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Case Management Software
Ability to use CompuLaw effectively
Experience in handling Billing Functions
Proficiency in Briefing
Skilled at Calendar Management
Experience in Claim Administration
Excellent Communication skills
Experience as a Litigation Paralegal
Knowledge of Civil Litigation processes
Proven Civil Litigation Experience
Experience in Commercial Litigation
Experience in Complex Business Litigation
Understanding of Complex Litigation processes
Proven experience in Complex Commercial Litigation
Familiarity with Defense Litigation
Extensive knowledge in Litigation
Experience with Litigation - Civil
Familiarity with Litigation - Defense
Proven experience in Litigation - Filing
Experience with Litigation - Plaintiff
Familiarity with Litigation - Support Software
Experience with Litigation - Support & Document Services
Ability to manage Litigation - Management
Experience in Medical Malpractice cases

Nice to have:

Time Matters experience
Colorado state experience
