Job Description:

Our client, a boutique Law Firm located in Marietta, GA, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their team on a permanent basis. This position offers a primarily remote work environment with occasional in-office requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in construction, environmental, and real estate law. Proficiency in e-filing using PeachCourt and Odyssey is required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct legal research and factual investigations to support litigation matters
  • Assist attorneys with case management throughout all stages of litigation
  • Prepare, organize, and electronically file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents using PeachCourt and Odyssey
  • Manage and maintain case files, databases, and document management systems
  • Coordinate and schedule court dates, hearings, depositions, client meetings, and attorney calendars
  • Assist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and case summaries
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and maintaining case-related documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (preferred but not required with relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing systems
  • Proficiency in e-filing using PeachCourt and Odyssey
  • Experience with construction, environmental, or real estate law is highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime when necessary
