Job Description:

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal in Denver, Colorado. The role will require the individual to provide support to multiple practice groups. The workplace will be fast-paced and technology-oriented, with a strong emphasis on organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting thorough and efficient reviews of documents for relevance and privilege, including redaction and bates numbering
Assisting in the preparation of trial exhibits and other trial-related tasks, including subpoenaing of witnesses
Utilizing strong communication skills to draft and assist in the creation of correspondence, disclosures, pleadings, and other documents adhering to proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling
Managing and organizing medical records and other documents as required
Preparing exhibits to pleadings and ensuring efficient e-filing and serving of pleadings, disclosures, and discovery
Scheduling and coordinating depositions, mediations, and hearings
Maintaining litigation calendars and docketing all deadlines and appearances
Arranging for personal service of documents
Leveraging technology to manage case details, including proficiency with Word, Outlook, and Case Management Software

Requirements:

Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Paralegal role
Demonstrated proficiency in Aderant software
Experience with Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
Proficient in using Case Management Software
Experience with CompuLaw
Ability to effectively handle billing functions
Strong briefing skills
Proficient in calendar management
Experience in claim administration
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
