Job Description:

The Loader is responsible for the timely and accurate loading of the Store Orders onto trailers, trailer stripping (unloading), and non-conveyable picking. Responsibilities include keeping the work area neat, communicating clearly, and working independently or within a team to complete assignments as scheduled. Other responsibilities include inspecting trailers, verifying merchandise, and recording accurate counts. Must lift up to 80 pounds frequently.

Job Responsibility:

Timely and accurate loading of the Store Orders onto trailers
unloading all merchandise from the returned delivery trailer, separating merchandise by type
count and verify all RX, Cosmetics, and Cigarettes
keep work area neat and organized
perform other duties as assigned by Dept. Supervisor, Lead or Shift Manager
locate merchandise ordered and select merchandise from selection slot
apply bar-code label to top of case and place selected merchandise on pallet
move empty pallets from pick slots to empty pallet staging slot
pull completed pallet of merchandise to staging area.

Requirements:

Good written and verbal communication skills
ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally
ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, reach, and stoop on a continuous basis
ability to frequently and repetitively lift up to 80 pounds, occasionally to 100 pounds
ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
must be certified or have ability to be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks
able to work within a team and work independently with minimal supervision to complete assignments within established schedules and deadlines.
