Job Description:

The Loader is responsible for the timely and accurate loading of the Store Orders onto trailers. The role includes shipping duties, unloading trailers, picking non-conveyable items, and maintaining accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

Loading and unloading trailers
inspecting trailers for condition and safety
loading store orders by verifying schedules, load sheets, and item labels
merging and staging non-conveyable merchandise
recording accurate counts for RX, cosmetics, and cigarettes
unloading returned merchandise and separating by type
sweeping trailers after unloading
selecting merchandise from selection slots
applying barcode labels and placing items on pallets
moving empty pallets to staging slots
pulling completed pallets to staging areas
working overtime as needed to service stores.

Requirements:

Good written and verbal communication skills
ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally
ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, reach, and stoop on a continuous basis
ability to frequently and repetitively lift up to 80 pounds, occasionally to 100 pounds
ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
must be certified or have ability to be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks
able to work within a team and work independently with minimal supervision to complete assignments within established schedules and deadlines.
