In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing customer loan services, ensuring optimal efficiency and accuracy in the processing and recording of customer loan applications. This role is situated in the Queensbury/ Glens Falls Area and is a chance to be part of the fast-paced banking industry.
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
Supervising the team and assisting in project coordination for optimum efficiency
Collaborating with various departments to understand the impact and assure efficiency
Leading initiatives to achieve departmental and company goals
Overseeing daily operations, including projects and special assignments
Assisting in the execution of their programs and working with internal and external auditors
Researching and implementing changes to comply with regulatory requirements and directives
Facilitating customer escalation calls and situations to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
Ensuring quality control review of designated work for timely and accurate reporting
Providing support to the call center as required
Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in banking
4 years of banking and loan experience preferred
1 year of supervisory experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
knowledge of banking related software a plus
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
demonstrated ability to interact confidently and professionally with employees, management, customers and other stakeholders
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet strict deadlines with attention to detail skills
Proven organizational, project management, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Extensive knowledge of state/federal regulations related to loan servicing and lending
Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
