Job Description:

We are searching for a meticulous Lockbox Remittance Processor to join our team in Burlington, Vermont. As a Lockbox Remittance Processor, you will be responsible for handling remittances, depositing documents, and maintaining accurate files. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Handle and process remittances received via mail
Deposit documents in an organized and efficient manner
Maintain and manage files accurately
Use the Lock Box system proficiently
Perform photocopying and scanning of documents as needed
Collaborate with the staffing team to ensure smooth operations
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

Requirements:

Proficiency in handling deposits and understanding the intricacies of the process
Experience in staffing roles, preferably within a financial or banking setting
Demonstrated ability as a processor, with experience in managing high volumes of transactions
Familiarity with remittance processing, including understanding the various forms of payment methods
Ability to work with a lock box system, including maintenance and troubleshooting
Proficiency in photocopying and scanning documents, with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in replication and digital storage
Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and data security protocols
