Job Description:

The role of the Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of finished goods to the customer. This position is in one of the leading global companies in the industrial field.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with the overall business objectives
Analyze supply chain processes to identify and implement improvements in efficiency and cost savings
Work closely with procurement, planning, customer services, production and warehousing, distribution and direct sales reps,to ensure smooth operations
Collaborate with warehouse managers to ensure that storage, handling and order fulfillment processes support the overall logistics strategy
Develop & manage budgets for transportation, storage, and distribution
Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining service quality
Track key performance indicators such as delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory turnover
Leverage Logistics software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline operations
Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify trends, forecast issues and drive continuous improvement
Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions, such as supply chain delays, transportation issues, or regulatory changes
Implement procedures that ensure the safe handling and transport of goods
Maintain strong relationships with carriers, and third party logistics providers
Close communication with Customer Service, Planning and Sales Teams
Lead , Mentor, and develop the logistic team fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

5 years of proven experience in a similar position
University degree in Business Administration or related field
Fluent in usage of WMS, ERP, SAP & other similar softwares

Nice to have:

MSc in Supply Chain would be an Assent
