Job Description:

Join Cox Automotive as a Lot Operations Specialist II, where you will manage vehicle tracker inventory, coordinate with management, oversee vehicle inventory fluctuations, enforce project standards, and promote continuous improvement in operations. This role involves working closely with lot operations teams and handling various tasks such as locating vehicles, assisting customers, and supporting sale day activities.

Job Responsibility:

Accountable for location’s tracker inventory
manages retrieval of trackers requiring further attention and determines corrective action
returns defective trackers to Cox2M
ensures user interface and billing accurately reflect returns and new orders
monitors vehicle inventory volume and fluctuations to anticipate spikes or changes
coordinates with Management and GCM to manage inventory levels
reviews and comprehends inventory analytics dashboard
proactively monitors and addresses issues to prevent leakage
builds relationships with lot operations teams
promotes and champions identified changes and continuous improvement
enforces adoption of project standards, operating procedures, best practices, and metrics
supports Lot Vision program
participates in ICC calls
assigned other duties by manager or supervisor

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline
5 years’ experience in a related field
valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
basic mechanical knowledge of identifying flat tires, low gas, jump starting vehicles
ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
ability to lift 1-15 pounds
knowledge of lot operations/lot layout preferred
knowledge of LDM preferred
