Job Description:

Incumbent will operate in a global support role with multiple skills, tools and technology, servicing multiple customers. You will have the opportunity to move into any other technology support area with CTI. The Batch Management support role is a technical position and therefore all skills proven are transferable to any other technical positions. You will have global exposure, help improve the global strategic direction, collaborate with global peers in the technical vertical (Batch Management), and create exciting new growth opportunities by cooperating with other global support organizations i.e. Command Center, Change Control and global Application development to name a few.

Job Responsibility:

Act as a member of the Batch Management team that supports processes, tools, and products used in Mainframe Batch Scheduling space
Support all Citi lines of businesses for services like User Acceptance Testing, Production Job Scheduling, Workload Automation, and solutions development
Assist new application and support teams on on-boarding new users
Drive User Pilot Programs & Presentations, build user-community training/end user education
Identify process improvement areas and initiate steps to improve on these areas and where possible - automate
Provide 24*7 follow the sun support for critical production problems on batch scheduling and automation/reporting solutions
Develop partnerships with customers, handle expectations, customer concerns, and vendor engagements
Communicate and carry out compliance to the policies, standards, procedures to users in handling change requests
Drive transformation/lean efforts that will optimize business operations and improve current process efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

Mainframe Batch Scheduling using tools: Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS z/OS, can be called IWS z/OS - IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS)
Experience in Production Support organization
Overall understanding of Mainframe operating system
Experience in JCL, REEX would be beneficial
