Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Mainframe Developers with COBOL expertise for a 12-month contract with potential extension in Canberra. Australian Citizen ONLY with Baseline clearance.

Job Responsibility:

Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications in a Mainframe environment
Perform system integration testing and troubleshooting
Collaborate with teams to deliver system solutions and improvements
Provide ongoing support and optimisation for Mainframe systems

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer with COBOL programming
Strong knowledge of Mainframe technologies (e.g., CICS, DB2, JCL)
Experience with legacy system maintenance and performance optimisation
Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment
