Job Description:

As our Maintenance Engineer, you won’t just fix engineering breakdowns at our Lincoln site. You’ll keep our engineering operation running smoothly and efficiently, optimised, ensuring that every CNC and manual machine is running as well as it can. If you’re ready for a challenge, then we are ready to hear from you! You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our machinery and equipment covering CNC, NC and more. One day you could be performing routine maintenance, next day troubleshooting or diagnosing a mechanical / hydraulic issue, and repairing it to minimise downtime. We are a heavy industrial manufacturer based in Lincoln with a 100-years of experience. Job Responsibility:

Reactive breakdowns of machinery in our workshop
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues covering a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic issues
Perform repairs, replacements, and upgrades
Work closely with other engineering team members to ensure timely completion of your maintenance tasks
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
Adhere to our health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

Be mechanically trained with knowledge of various hydraulic and pneumatic systems (not necessarily CNC / Conventional machines)
Be a fantastic problem-solver
Be able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings / schematics
Understand the importance of health and safety
