Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a leading chemical manufacturer on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where your skills will play a key role in maintaining and improving production efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Fault finding and repairing control panels, PLCs, and input/output cards
Working with 3-phase systems, extruders, and both DC and AC motors
Maintaining and troubleshooting variable speed drives and small 3-phase motors
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal disruption to production
Collaborating with the team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
Strong knowledge of control panels, PLC fault finding, and 3-phase systems
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
