Job Description:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of our maintenance team responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of our busy production machinery and equipment at our manufacturing site. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that any issues are rectified in a timely manner and support them in implementing changes with continuous improvement projects.

Job Responsibility:

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on machinery, equipment and plant
Conduct reactive repairs and rectification work on machinery, equipment and plant
Set-up and tooling of machinery for next use
Cleaning and preparation of machinery
Report faults and parts demand to maintain spares level in stores
Assist in implementing changes to support continuous improvement projects

Requirements:

Experience in maintaining and repairing capital equipment, plant or machinery
Experience and understanding of pneumatic systems
Understanding of electrical systems and components such as, motors, circuits and sensors
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and diagrams
Exposure to general building facilities such as HVAC, alarm systems and equipment
Ability to work autonomously to complete tasks and adhere to health and safety policies at all times
Confident to communicate at all levels across the business

Nice to have:

Exposure to converting, unwinding, spooling, splicing, slitting and labeling equipment
