Job Description:

Are you an experienced Fitter & Turner looking for a challenging role in the Asphalt Production industry? We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance fitter to join the current team with the Brisbane City Council.

Job Responsibility:

Repair, maintenance, and servicing of plant and equipment associated with the production of asphalt products
Maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery
Undertaking preventative maintenance
Responding to breakdowns
Overseeing stock
Adhering to maintenance plans
Cutting, drilling, welding & grinding of materials

Requirements:

Australian or Australian Recognised Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical)
C class driver’s licence
Work safety in Construction Industry (White card)
Available to work the occasional weekend to complete shutdown maintenance and night shift
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a 'get the job done' approach

Nice to have:

Shutdown experience is desirable
