Job Description:

Maintain and meet the department goal set by operation requirements. Responsible for maintaining the Molding operation process in control to ensure plant performance. Tasks include setting up molds, process start-ups, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the Molding operation process in control
set up molds and process start-ups in the production area
clean molds and machines
troubleshoot molding processes
maintain GMP, OSHA practices, and QA standards
fill out documentation to comply with specifications and SOPs
ensure molds run with master cycle parameters
perform preventive maintenance
follow hazardous waste disposal rules
perform minor machine or equipment repairs
perform product inspection, labeling, test documentation, and packing
manually or electronically document required process information
conduct EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards.

Requirements:

Thorough knowledge of the Injection Molding process
ability to set up molds and process start-ups
knowledge of GMP, OSHA practices, and QA standards
capability to read and understand a blue print
bilingual in Spanish and English
associate degree in Electronic or Industrial Mechanic
three years of experience in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, or pneumatics
two years of experience with injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
knowledge of temperature controllers and peripheral equipment.

Knowledge in temperature controllers
experience with peripheral equipment.
