Job Description:

An experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician is sought for a position in Oudenaarde. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving and maintaining production machinery through preventive and corrective mechanical interventions. This role operates within a two-shift system and includes periodic on-call duties. The position offers a permanent and varied role within a stable company that values initiative.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out preventive and corrective mechanical interventions within production
Independently repair mechanical defects in production machinery
Conduct preventive inspections to ensure optimal machinery performance
Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Work within a two-shift system and fulfil monthly on-call duties

Requirements:

Educational background in (electro) mechanics or equivalent experience
Proven experience as a mechanic in a similar production maintenance environment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Strong teamwork skills along with the ability to work independently
Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement
Detail-oriented, resilient under stress, and motivated to achieve results
