Job Description:

For a prominent company in the frozen food production industry, we are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians/Electro Mechanics for a position in Ardooie, Belgium. The role involves ensuring the optimal performance of technical systems and equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance. You will work with PLCs, electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics, maintaining a clean work environment while adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP protocols. Occasional work at heights and in cold environments is required. This position offers an exciting opportunity for versatile professionals with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and control production machines within assigned zones
Adapt machines to required settings and ensure smooth operation
Perform quality checks and resolve technical issues
Maintain a clean, safe production environment in line with HACCP standards
Assist other departments, such as the warehouse or technical teams, during calmer seasons

Requirements:

Experience working in a production environment
Basic technical insight, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Motivation, attention to detail, and good physical health (ability to work in cold environments)
Strong communication skills in English or French
Willingness to learn Dutch for long-term integration
Flexibility to work in shifts and occasional overtime
Own transport (a car is necessary)

What we offer:

Shift bonuses (€0.54/hour for early shifts, €0.61/hour for late shifts)
Meal vouchers (€7 per workday after 23 working days)
