Job Description:

You’ll be working alongside one of our highly experienced adjusters, where the claim is typically adjuster led and requires further surveying expertise to progress and settle the insurance claims as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out initial visits and assess damage to a high professional standard
Help establish and agree the defect diagnosis
Progress ensuing all Planning, Building Regulations Party Wall and CDM issues are addressed and that work is carried out to a high standard
Arrange testing (ACMs) report preparation
Complaint resolution and compliance of performance and process requirements
Prepare appraisal reports with budget costings and recommendations

Requirements:

Experienced Surveyor / Project Manager
Chartered MRICS / FRICS
Experience in dealing with projects over £100k in value
Team focused
Proactive
Insurance experience is a major advantage
Reactive
Excellent communication skills
Excellent technical knowledge of both domestic and commercial buildings including pathology, reinstatement methods and compliance with best practice / regulations
Knowledge of all relevant Health & Safety / CDM legislation
Holds a full UK driving licence and have a willingness to travel when necessary

Nice to have:

Insurance experience is a major advantage
