Job Description:

Join a Thriving, Family-Run Business as a Management Accountant. Are you an experienced Management Accountant who is looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Our client, a well-established, family-run company in Coalville, is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join their close-knit finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of financial processes, drive efficiencies, and contribute to the strategic financial direction of the business.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and manage monthly Management Accounts
Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes
Oversee and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency
Maintain and improve the costing system to support accurate financial planning
Supervise payroll processes within the finance team
Ensure financial policies and procedures are current and effective
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial plans
Assist the Group Financial Director with budget management and forecasting
Oversee treasury functions, including loan administration
Provide accurate financial reports to the Board and Executive team
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Inspire and motivate teams to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business goals

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial management systems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing finance teams
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
