Job Description:

Temporary Management Accountant role with a leading not for profit organisation based in Manchester. The role involves working closely with the Financial Controller and Senior Managers to offer financial advice and support to various departments and teams.

Job Responsibility:

Preparing annual budgets
Preparing monthly management accounts
Discussing financial performance & monitoring spending with departmental budget holders
Supporting budget holders with costings
Compiling year end statutory accounts
Balance sheet reconciliation and reviews
Working across the management accounts team to identify continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements:

Significant previous experience of management accounting
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to use information from both financial and non-financial sources
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to analyse, interpret and articulate trends
Full membership of a recognised accounting body within the UK
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Strong organisation skills
