As a Manager - Email Marketing, you will be responsible for leading acquisition email marketing. Your duties will include developing and scaling a cold email outreach program that drives business results, and successfully driving engagement and ultimately conversion of the warm lead database.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the acquisition marketing tool stack: both cold outreach tooling and existing CRM tooling
Own email KPIs such as addressable warm lead database size, email engagement metrics such as open and clicks, email health metrics, such as spam and last channel conversions to sales opportunities
Identify and segment target audience aligned to various drips sequences and campaign requirements
Influence and help manage a lead scoring system to identify and accelerate ideal customers through the acquisition lifecycle
Own acquisition lifecycle workflows and blast sends to manage and engage users throughout their buying lifecycle
Develop and manage an always on cold email outreach program which drives new customers to CleverTap, without burning brand bridges
Own and regularly report the KPIs associated with a cold email outreach program: program hygiene metrics, such as spam score, deliverability and clicks, email driven warm lead collection
Own email copy and content: identifying the best tone of voice, sender and copy / content approach to achieve your KPIs
Own email template strategy: work with internal resources to design and implement appropriate formats and templates per user segment that drive results
Collaborate with channel peers to drive end to end results, both as an always on strategy and for the purposes of campaigns
Requirements:
7+ years of strategic leadership experience in enterprise email marketing
Experience working with B2B CRM tooling: Hubspot preferred, Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud accepted
Prior experience of setting up and managing a lead scoring program
Prior experience setting up and managing a B2B cold outreach program, leveraging tools such as Lemlist, Clay or comparable
Handling large volumes
Prior experience working across multiple markets and different languages
Comfort with scale: large addressable databases, and significant scale on cold outreach programs
Experience in collaborating with other marketing channels to help drive one team results
Strong analytical skills and comfort reporting on data
An eye for detail and a desire to creatively optimize email content, formats and segments to drive results
High standards, a commitment to the brand integrity of the business and desire to continuously optimize
Experience working directly with sales teams to understand their perspectives, friction points and assist to optimize their email outreach
