The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of small to medium-sized Technology projects. This role includes the implementation of custom software development projects, enhancements to existing software, and out of the box solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all project activities through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), applying various project methodologies, and enforcing project standards to ensure quality and successful delivery of projects
Under the supervision of Senior Leadership, assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and determine and acquire resources needed
Communicate the business case to the project team to assist with decision-making and prioritization
Act as a liaison between technology/business stakeholders and Senior Leadership on project status, issues, and risks
Create and maintain project plans and ensure effective financial forecasting and tracking
Interface with other technology and business organizations to reach agreement on scope, obtain resources, and ensure proper preparedness
Review and evaluate work to ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures
May coach and mentor less-experienced team members and act as a team leader on systems projects
Requirements:
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in office functions and systems
Experience in generating detailed reports
Ability to conduct effective training sessions
Strong planning and organizing abilities
Knowledge of standard operating procedures
Familiarity with budget processes and financial planning
Proven project management experience
Experience in supervising and leading teams
Proficiency in About Time software
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience in the implementation of strategic plans
Ability to act as a liaison between different teams or departments
Experience in procurement and contract negotiation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology
Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Comfortable engaging with C-Suite executives
Experience in managing system upgrades
Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with various project management methodologies
Degree in computer sciences or related field is preferred
Experience in managing software deployments
Ability to negotiate and manage agreements with external partners
