Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the revenue management functions (pricing, competitive assessments, etc.) and inventory strategy for hotels across all brands. This includes all room segments (transient, group, and contract) as well as catering and function space. Responsible for understanding and communicating various Revenue Management philosophies as they pertain to brand and/or geographic strategies. Communicate and educate the hotels on proper pricing, competitive positioning and restrictions and the impact that they may have on the hotels’ revenue strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and coordinate revenue management functions
Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions
Analyze competitive performance and make recommendations
Develop and implement strategies to increase RevPAR
Utilize revenue management systems to maximize revenue and profit
Conduct Sales Strategy meetings
Ensure sales strategies are implemented in inventory systems
Manage function space authorizations and restrictions
Prepare sales strategy critique
Ensure compliance with company promotions and eCommerce channels
Evaluate and execute eChannel/on-line travel agent (OTA) strategy
Evaluate and execute special events and holiday strategies
Evaluate trends and execute changes in group strategy
Complete monthly revenue projections
Execute promotions, programs, and packages
Critique property revenue performance
Develop and maintain Rate Value Matrix
Evaluate transient segmentation and source markets
Monitor and adjust for optimal mix
Ensure retail price parity across all booking channels
Collaborate with Sales to complete annual Special Corporate and Wholesale pricing
Requirements:
A degree in a relevant business discipline preferred or demonstration of equivalent work experience
Experience in revenue management, pricing, and competitive assessments
Proficiency in using revenue management systems and tools
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to communicate and educate stakeholders on revenue strategies
Experience in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions
Knowledge of market share tools and demand forecasting systems
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
Experience in evaluating and executing eChannel/on-line travel agent (OTA) strategy
Ability to collaborate with sales teams and stakeholders
