Job Description:

As Managing Director of the companies UK business, you will have full Profit & Loss responsibility of a circa £40 million turnover business who employs circa 100 people. You will be leading a team of managers responsible for Sales, Service / Aftersales, Sales Support, Engineering / Workshop, Finance & HR. We have grown by 300% in the last 15 years and are looking for the right leader to build on this success.

Job Responsibility:

Full Profit & Loss responsibility of a circa £40 million turnover business
Leading a team of managers responsible for Sales, Service / Aftersales, Sales Support, Engineering / Workshop, Finance & HR

Requirements:

You MUST have a proven track record as a Managing Director or General Manager – specifically with current or recent experience of managing a UK Sales & Service office, or a manufacturer of food process &/or packaging machinery
You will have a deep understanding of the UK food processing / manufacturing sector
You will have had previous experience and a track record of success of both sales management and sales of food process & packaging machinery to the food industry
You will be a ‘hands on’ leader with excellent attention to detail skills, and you will be a driven and a strategic thinker
Any business management or relevant technical qualifications would also be advantageous
