Job Description:

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily manufacturing operations in an area, ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA requirements, and fostering a positive and equitable working environment. The role involves managing safety and quality commitments, facilitating training, and driving operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support and Emphasize the Safety and Quality commitments of the department
  • Supervise the daily manufacturing operations in an area
  • Provide a positive and equitable working environment
  • Identify, prioritize, and provide resources to meet annual operational plans and budgetary commitments
  • Facilitate and verify appropriate training for employees, including GMP, job skills, and safety
  • Ensure compliance with GMP rules, product documentation, specifications, SOPs, and FDA requirements
  • Conduct recognition and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
  • Collect and analyze data for process improvement and root cause analysis
  • Handle multiple priorities in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Interface and collaborate with multiple departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • BS degree (preferably in a scientific or engineering field) with 0-3 years of manufacturing experience
  • OR High School Diploma and 5+ years equivalent manufacturing experience and at least 1 year in a leadership position
  • OR High School Diploma and 5+ years military leadership
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting
  • Strong professional writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports
  • Ability to understand GMPs and other regulatory guidelines applicable to the medical/pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to respond to detailed inquiries, and present information to groups and senior management
  • Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to connect with other team members.
