Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant / Executive to join our client's team in Derby. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, supporting a variety of creative and strategic marketing initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience across multiple marketing functions, from social media and content creation to SEO, PPC, and event coordination.

Job Responsibility:

Content Creation & Social Media - Plan, write, and update website and social media content
CRM & Data Management - Input and manage data within our CRM system
Event Coordination - Organise and support both virtual and in-person events
SEO & PPC Strategies - Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
Agency & Partner Collaboration - Work with external PR/creative agencies, partners, and fee earners
Social Media Management - Oversee our social channels and drive engagement
Internal Communications - Manage newsletters and internal communications
Website & Live Chat - Handle website enquiries and coordinate live chat responses
Marketing Administration - Provide project support across various marketing programs

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail & accuracy
Knowledge of social media for business
Experience with Google Ads & Google Analytics
Confident copywriting & content creation skills
Excellent organisational & project management skills
Proactive & self-motivated mindset
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Confidence in dealing with clients (phone & in person)
Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

A degree in English, Communications, or Marketing is desirable
Experience in a similar marketing or communications role is advantageous
