Job Description:

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining critical company data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of business information. This role supports decision making, process optimization, and compliance within the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Collecting, entering, and validating business data according to established guidelines and standards
Actively identifying and correcting inconsistencies, duplicate data, and missing information
Developing and maintaining procedures and guidelines for managing master data
Generating reports and analyses based on available data to provide insights
Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to improve and streamline data management processes
Ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy laws and security guidelines
Seeking solutions for ERP system problems and contacting consultants when necessary
Setting up and monitoring internal/external communication such as EDI
Adapting the ERP system to departmental needs
Testing and accepting new functionalities
Training and supporting end-users
Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders to address data management needs

Requirements:

2-3+ years of experience in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Business Administration, or Data Management
Skill in entering, checking, and managing data with high accuracy to ensure the correctness and consistency of business data
Experience and knowledge of data management systems and tools, with specific emphasis on expertise in relevant software
Capacity to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization, such as IT teams, data analysts, and operational departments
Ability to evaluate existing data management processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Understanding of the organization's business processes and how data flows impact different aspects of business operations
