Job Description:

This job role is for a Mathematics Teacher in Abu Dhabi at an affiliated school offering American and IB curriculums with a strong focus on languages. The position starts in August 2025 and involves teaching diverse learners while contributing to the school community.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the US curriculum, IGCSE, or IB requirements
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Bachelor of Education or Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject plus a PGCE (or equivalent)
Candidates with 1-2 years of experience upwards preferred, however, strong newly qualified teachers may be considered
Excellent communication skills
Flexible and creative teaching approach
Commitment to extra-curricular contributions
Understanding of the principles of inclusive education and supporting students with special educational needs
