Job Description:

A well-established property and construction consultancy is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expert team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior-level mechanical engineer to step into a leadership role, managing M&E projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, and hospitality. While the company has an established M&E team in London, they are now looking to expand their presence in the North, bringing in a dedicated professional to service existing workloads while driving the growth and development of M&E services in the region and beyond.

Job Responsibility:

Providing strategic leadership on mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects
Overseeing M&E design and consultancy services
Managing project teams and liaising with clients, architects, and contractors
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Conducting site inspections and technical reviews
Supporting business development and contributing to the growth of the M&E division

Requirements:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it
Extensive experience in M&E consultancy, with a strong mechanical bias
A proven track record in leading and delivering building services projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, and hospitality
Strong leadership, client management, and communication skills
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a consultancy environment
