Are you a skilled and motivated mechanical engineer passionate about ensuring the smooth and safe operation of critical production facilities? We're looking for a dedicated and driven Maintenance Engineer to join the team! As a Maintenance Engineer you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the IPG filling plants.

Job Responsibility:

You'll be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance of our production plant and equipment, ensuring 100% compliance with all safety and engineering standards
You'll work closely with subcontractors, design authorities, and internal teams to execute maintenance work and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations
You'll have in-depth knowledge of cryogenic pumps and industrial packaged gas filling systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation
You'll proactively identify and address potential safety and production issues, ensuring the safety of our employees and the surrounding public
You'll contribute to defining solutions for equipment obsolescence and upgrades, helping us constantly improve our operations

Requirements:

A strong background in Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience within the Industrial Gas Sector, Chemical and Oil industry, with experience on COMAH related sites is advantageous
Proficiency in CMMS, as well as knowledge of plant and process instrumentation, controls, electrical components, and safety systems
A strong understanding of Pressure Safety Systems Regulation and written schemes
Ability to work independently, organise, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing situations
A commitment to accuracy and a deep understanding of safety and compliance procedures
Full UK Driving License

What we offer:

Salary £40,000 - £45,000
Hours: Mon-Fri 07:30 - 4pm + 1hr lunch
Transport - company van included with a fuel card for travelling across sites
