Job Description:

Our client is a global service provider to the mining and cement industries. Due to consistent projects forecasted, we are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for ongoing workshop work in Newcastle. For the right person this will have the potential to transition to a full time, permanent position

Job Responsibility:

Overhauls of fixed plant, including but not limited to pumps, screens and valves
Strip, assess and rebuild projects in a large, workshop team environment
Use of precision measuring equipment including micrometers

Requirements:

Mechanical Trade Qualification
Forklift and Dogging ticket highly regarded
Proactive attitude and diligence
Great teamwork ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Great references to support your application

Forklift and Dogging ticket

What we offer:

Casual rate $56.25 / hour
Monday - Friday
Day shift 6 - 2:30 with some overtime available
