Job Description:

Role: Mechanical Fitter. Employment: Casual/Temporary. Location: Northern suburbs of Adelaide. Shifts: Day 6am-2pm & Afternoon 2pm-10pm.

Job Responsibility:

Providing inspection, repair and overhaul services on hydraulic cylinders & pumps
Conducting ‘Take 5’ risk assessments & other safety measures
Assist in the re-manufacture of gearboxes, pistons & motors
Working in large team environments to ensure productivity targets are met
Disassembly & reassembly of earthmoving/mining products, equipment & parts
Use hand & power tools as well as operate workshop mobile lifting equipment

Requirements:

Australian Recognised Trade - Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) or similar
Strong communication skills & ability to demonstrate safe work practices
Comprehension of manuals & technical drawings
High Risk Licenses
LF, DG, EWP (desirable)
Police Check within 3 months or ability to obtain
Pass a pre employment medical & drug/alcohol screenings
