Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Claims Representative in the insurance industry, based in Hartford, Connecticut. The job requires a highly organized individual who will be tasked with supporting claims representatives and executing various clerical tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
Execute computer searches for file locations and maintain accurate customer credit records
Support claims representatives by matching documents to files and locating files as required
Perform various clerical duties, including numeric filing and sorting
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
Ensure a team-oriented work environment through strong listening and communication skills
Navigate Microsoft Windows effectively and use keyboard skills for data entry tasks
Handle photocopying and scanning of documents as part of daily tasks

Requirements:

Proficiency in dealing with insurance matters
Experience in claim administration
Ability to perform clerical duties efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in Windows OS
Solid keyboard skills for data entry tasks
Familiarity with numeric filing systems
Ability to handle photocopying and scanning documents efficiently
