The role is based in a Medical Office, located in Beverly Hills, California. The position is centered around providing vital support to our medical team and patients.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure a positive patient experience by being the initial contact for patients, creating a welcoming environment
Efficiently manage inbound calls, addressing patient inquiries promptly and professionally
Utilize scheduling software to book, confirm, and adjust patient appointments, also assisting with booking follow-up appointments
Clearly communicate office policies and procedures to patients
Verify patient forms and insurance information, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule
Carry out data entry tasks and maintain patient records, ensuring compliance with medical regulations
Contact patients or potential clients for scheduling follow-up appointments
Coordinate follow-up appointments with both staff and patients
Provide necessary administrative support to office management and medical staff
Handle patient check-in procedures efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Medical Front Desk role or similar
Proficient in answering inbound calls, ideally within a healthcare setting
Demonstrated understanding and adherence to HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule
Proven experience with patient appointment management, including scheduling and check-in
Strong ability to manage patient scheduling, ensuring efficient and effective clinic operation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
High school diploma or equivalent required
further certification in Office Management is a plus
