Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Medical Office Administrator for one of our trusted healthcare clients. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your administrative skills into a rewarding environment dedicated to helping patients.

Job Responsibility:

Manage daily office operations, including patient scheduling, phone calls, and document processing
Handle medical billing, coding coordination, and insurance verification tasks
Maintain and update electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic), ensuring compliance with regulations
Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies
Support the office staff, ensure proper inventory of office supplies, and address facility needs

Requirements:

Proven experience in medical office administration or related healthcare support role
Strong proficiency with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner or Epic
Familiarity with insurance verification processes and medical billing/coding regulations
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Biller (CPB)
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Technician (RHIT)
Experience with Workday software
