Job Description:

Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) Architect to lead VDI transformations and migrations to Azure Virtual Desktop. This role emphasizes expertise in AVD design, implementation, and migration strategies, leveraging Azure technologies and best practices.

Job Responsibility:

conduct in-depth customer workshops to assess VDI needs, challenges, and digital transformation goals
perform comprehensive analysis of existing VDI infrastructures, identifying optimization opportunities and migration paths
develop sophisticated AVD architectures, incorporating advanced Azure services and security features
create detailed migration strategies, emphasizing minimal disruption and maximum efficiency
lead AVD implementations, ensuring alignment with Azure best practices and performance optimization

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level VDI solutions, with a strong focus on Azure Virtual Desktop
proven track record of successful large-scale migrations from VMware or Citrix VDI to Azure Virtual Desktop
deep expertise in Azure services critical to AVD, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center
advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 multi-session, FSLogix, and Microsoft 365 integration with AVD
mastery of PowerShell scripting, Azure CLI, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for AVD automation and management
strong understanding of VDI security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments
Australian citizenship
NV1 clearance mandatory
