Job Description:

Middle School Art Teacher position in Abu Dhabi starting August 2025. The school follows a US curriculum with options for UK and IB programs in high school.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the US curriculum, IGCSE, or IB requirements
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Bachelor of Education or Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject plus a PGCE (or equivalent)
Candidates with 1-2 years of experience upwards preferred, however, strong newly qualified teachers may be considered
Excellent communication skills (previous experience in an EAL environment is welcomed)
