Job Description:

Middle School English Language Arts Teacher position in Shenzhen, China with BASIS International & Bilingual Schools, a growing network known for academic excellence and innovation. The mission is to provide transformative early childhood and K-12 education using cutting-edge curriculum, exceptional teaching, and mentoring.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
Bachelor's degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5)
Previous experience within an EAL setting
Demonstrate strong communication skills in teaching ideas, texts, and concepts with precision and confidence
Open to new ideas in teaching
Knowledgeable, passionate, and believe in transforming education
Able to motivate students to reach their highest potential, while also elevating own skills through peer collaboration and a culture where learning is of the greatest importance
Flexibility is important as well as strong relationship building skills and an ability to build a strong school community.
