Job Description:

This new campus opened in August 2022 and is the 3rd campus of a rapidly expanding school group in Guangzhou. The aim is to create a school with a genuine multi-cultural, international, and future-oriented curriculum. Students in Early Years follow a Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum, strengthened by the IB Primary Years Programme standards and practices, followed by the IB curriculum to DP level.

Requirements:

2+ years of post-qualification experience
Strong knowledge and experience and/or enthusiasm to teach to the IB curriculum framework
Ideally will have experience of working in a bilingual or multicultural context, with sensitivity to the cultural differences
Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning and an ability to create a successful learning environment
Show accountability for each student's progress and well-being
Have a commitment to reflection and improvement of personal practice
Well-versed in various teaching resources including digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team, with a willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
You will understand the special challenges and opportunities that come with being a start up school.
