Mobile Associates work as members of a team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They build connections with customers, uncover customer needs, and recommend personalized device and service solutions. This is an entry-level position for those passionate about technology and customer experiences, with the potential to grow into a Mobile Expert role. Responsibilities include assisting customers with their shopping journey, demonstrating the latest technology, providing support and resolutions, and collaborating with team members to create an inclusive environment.
Job Responsibility:
Helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in-store
Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store
Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare-bones device and service plan that keep our customers connected to the people and lifestyle they love
Approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion
Using and demonstrating digital tools, such as coverage maps and T-Mobile plans to educate customers
Completing training on T-Mobile in-store experience, skills, processes, systems, and resources
Establishing relationships with business and customer service teams to create a seamless environment and identify leads
Supporting team initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, Retail environment preferred
Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it
Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues
Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
