Mobile Associates work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They engage customers, build relationships, and demonstrate T-Mobile’s latest technology while providing personalized solutions in a fast-paced environment. This is a learning role designed to build skills and prepare for future advancement to the Mobile Expert role. Responsibilities include sales, promoting company services, resolving customer inquiries, and fostering collaboration across teams.
Job Responsibility:
Helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in-store
Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store
Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the basic device and service plan
Approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion
Becoming skilled with and consistently using digital tools in interactions and onboarding
Explaining how our ever-expanding coverage stacks up, providing customers with a lightning fast LTE network
Demonstrating why T-Mobile plans and services let our customers live unlimited and stay connected
Completing new employee training focused on T-Mobile’s in-store experience, skills and processes
Establishing relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels, including business and customer service
Identifying and handing off small business leads
Supporting team initiatives and creating an inclusive environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, Retail environment preferred
Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it
Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues
Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
