Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced motor claims handler to join their expanding remote team. This role entails investigating motor insurance claims to evaluate liability and damages for their emergency blue light clients. You will oversee claims from start to finish, applying your investigative and negotiation skills to achieve the best outcomes. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is crucial, and they will support you in attending meetings and developing this aspect of your role.

Job Responsibility:

Investigating motor insurance claims to evaluate liability and damages for emergency blue light clients
Overseeing claims from start to finish
Applying investigative and negotiation skills to achieve the best outcomes
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Managing a portfolio of motor damage, credit hire, and injury claims from initial notification to settlement
Making decisions on fraud, quantum, and liability
Managing cases through litigation
Communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, brokers, suppliers, claimants, and their representatives

Requirements:

Proactive claims handling ability
Strong organisational and communication skills
Capable of working independently and collaboratively
Extensive experience in motor claims, including credit hire, personal injury assessment, and motor investigations
Solid understanding of insurance principles
Proficient in handling OICP and MOJ Portal claims
Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail
Strong negotiation skills
