Job Description:

Opportunities available for experienced English Teachers to teach Middle School and High School Classes at a thriving US curriculum school in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Teachers will enjoy working in a state-of-the-art purpose-built school that supports students from K to Grade 12, as well as living and working in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi, which provides a cosmopolitan lifestyle surrounded by cultural and traditional richness. The school has specialized learning spaces such as science labs, performing arts studios, a sports hall, and media suites.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and implement engaging lessons based on the US curriculum
Monitor and assess students' progress, ensuring they achieve their full potential
Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment, fostering a love of learning
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school leadership team

Requirements:

Two years teaching experience as a minimum
Must meet UAE qualification criteria, Degree in teaching subject, Teaching License
At least 2 years of post qualifying teaching experience
Experience teaching the US curricula desireable
Previous experience of students with EAL is welcomed
You should be flexible and adaptable
Culturally sensitive
A professional attitude

Nice to have:

Experience teaching the US curricula
Previous experience of students with EAL

What we offer:

Monthly salary of 14 - 16,000 AED tax free dependent on qualifications and experience
