Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Network Administrator in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills in network configurations, security practices, and infrastructure management will be utilized.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and maintain network configurations including routers, switches, and firewalls
Apply network security protocols and practices to ensure the integrity and safety of the company's data
Utilize network monitoring tools for proactive troubleshooting and issue resolution
Manage cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Collaborate with team members to solve complex network-related problems
Implement and maintain Cisco Technologies and EO/IR systems
Administer Microsoft Active Directory and manage backup technologies
Oversee computer hardware and configuration management
Participate in the design and implementation of network infrastructure projects

Requirements:

Proficiency in Cisco routers and Cisco technologies is mandatory
Familiarity with EO/IR systems is required
Experience with firewall technologies is essential
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Expertise in Active Directory is necessary
Knowledge of backup technologies is important
Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware issues
Skilled in configuration management
Proven experience in design, particularly network design
Legally authorized to work in the United States
