Job Description:

Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer in Madison, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including networking with cloud platforms, managing wireless access points, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Job Responsibility:

Handle networking tasks associated with cloud platforms and SaaS solutions
Participate actively in incident response planning
Conduct advanced level design, testing, and troubleshooting of IP WAN/LAN networks
Manage enterprise-class wireless access point fleet
Utilize network tools to analyze and optimize the performance of the network
Implement proper firewall rules
Handle advanced unified communications design, configuration, and troubleshooting
Maintain various ISP, telecommunications, hardware, and software vendor relationships
Research and propose new technologies to improve current systems and security
Responsible for proper DHCP and internal/external DNS configuration

Requirements:

Proficiency in Meraki
Expert knowledge of Network Switches
Valid Cisco CCNA certification
Experience with FortiGate
Understanding of SD-WAN
Experience with Nutanix
Proficiency in Hyper-V
Solid understanding of DNS
